Summer Program

Summer associates are a vital part of our continuing growth and success. Your experience as a summer associate at Torys will be intense but fulfilling. You will have the opportunity to participate in dynamic relationships in which outstanding work, client service and a rewarding professional experience are paramount.

We provide our summer associates with as thorough an exposure to the practice of law as the summer months allow. Our summer program is not divided into rotations. We will arrange for you to work with as many attorneys in as many practice areas as possible so you can draw on the knowledge, judgment and expertise of our attorneys. This approach accelerates the learning process, builds professional skills and industry experience, and will help you develop your own blend of legal skills and professional style.

We expect to hire two or three summer associates. Our summer associates have come from many schools throughout the United States, including the law schools at Cornell University, University of Virginia, Georgetown University, Columbia University, New York University, Fordham University, University of California at Berkeley, University of California at Hastings and the University of Pennsylvania.
