Stephen has recently been involved in representing

• Pizza Pizza Royalty Income Fund and Pizza Pizza Limited in the fund’s 2007 acquisition of Pizza 73 and related transactions
• BFI Canada Income Fund in its cross-border combination with IESI and subsequent offerings and its C$110 million acquisition of the Ridge landfill in Chatham, Ontario from Waste Management of Canada Corporation
• Connors Bros. Income Fund in its cross-border combination with Bumble Bee Seafoods and subsequent offerings
• Premiere Global Services in its C$28.3 million acquisition of Enunciate

Before joining Torys, Stephen worked in the legal department of CanWest Global Communications.
