• International Power Canada in the acquisition of certain solar assets from EffiSolar Energy Corporation
• The Woodbridge Company Limited in its acquisition of The Globe and Mail and the sale of CTV to BCE for C$3.2 billion
• The Bank of Nova Scotia in its C$2.3 billion acquisition of DundeeWealth
• Primary Energy Recycling Corporation, a U.S. recycled energy company, in its US$105 million refinancing and rights offering
• ReichmannHauer Capital Partners in its acquisition of Black’s Photo Corporation from FUJIFilm Canada
• Saskatchewan Wheat Pool in its $1.8 billion unsolicited takeover bid for Agricore United and in its significant asset sales to Cargill Limited and to James Richardson International
• Premiere Global Services in its acquisition of Budget Conferencing
• ZENON Environmental in its C$760 million acquisition by GE Water & Process Technologies, a unit of General Electric
• EdgeStone Capital Partners in the leveraged buyout of New Food Classics

While in law school, Jackie completed a human rights internship at the International Organization for Migration in Geneva. During her articles, Jackie was seconded to the investment funds branch at the Ontario Securities Commission.
