• Brookfield Renewable Power in the strategic combination of its power business under Brookfield Renewable Energy Partners
• the Canadian Wind Energy Association as intervenor in an application for judicial review challenging the validity of Ontario’s renewable energy approvals regulations
• a renewable energy producer in an appeal to the Divisional Court of a decision of the Ontario Energy Board
• a renewable energy producer in a judicial review proceeding at the Divisional Court
• the Canadian Civil Liberties Association as intervener in an internet defamation case
• the Ontario Power Authority in a judicial review proceeding at the Divisional Court
• a major Canadian financial institution in a class action trial arising from an acquisition
• a Canadian broker/dealer in the defence of a proposed class action with respect to an alleged failure to supervise
• a major Canadian financial institution in defence of a proposed class action concerning one of its products
• a multinational corporation in an arbitration proceeding under the Ontario International Commercial Arbitration Act involving claims for breach of a software development and licensing agreement, copyright infringement and breach of confidence
• a multinational bank in an appeal before the Court of Appeal for Ontario and in a leave to appeal application to the Supreme Court of Canada
• an arbitration hearing under the Ontario Arbitration Act

During law school, Alex was Editor-in-Chief of University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review. He was also a research assistant to the Dean of University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
