Tim has recently been involved in representing

• a syndicate of banks on a C$1 billion project financing transaction in the energy sector
• a shareholder in a dispute involving an action for oppression
• major institutional brokerage houses in the defence of claims of discretionary or unauthorized trading, suitability of investments, and liability for the alleged misconduct of the individual registrants

During law school, Tim was a volunteer editor of the Queen’s University Law Journal. He was also vice-president of the Law Students Society and co-president of OUTLaw, a gay and lesbian advocacy group.

Tim also worked as a summer law student at Torys' New York office.
