• Consumers’ Waterheater Income Fund in its acquisition of Stratacon
• Edgestone in its sale of BreconRidge to Sanmina
• 411.ca in its sale to Yellow Pages Corp.
• The Canadian Football League in the preparation of its license agreements
• A Canadian Chartered Bank in the procurement of system development services and outsourcing agreements
• The World Wildlife Fund in the negotiation of its various commercial agreements
• The Bank of Nova Scotia in its sponsorship agreement with the Calgary Flames

Before joining Torys, Ebad practised at a large intellectual property firm, where he gained experience in all areas of patent law. Prior to law school, he also gained experience working in the software industry developing database applications for a company that specialized in electronic tolling systems.

Ebad also worked as legal counsel at GlaxoSmithKline for a three-month secondment.
