• Novelis as global coordinating counsel in its December, 2010 U.S.$4.8 billion refinancing, which included a U.S.$2.5 billion high yield offering, a U.S.$1.5 billion term loan financing, and U.S.$800 million international ABL revolving facility
• Nokia Siemens Networks in its bid for Nortel's LTE and CDMA business
• ICICI Bank Canada in a project financing with a Canadian borrower
• A group of institutional investors on a C$1.4 billion project financing of Ontario Power Generation’s Lower Mattagami hydroelectric facilities
• This project won the AFP 2011 Pinnacle Award
• Viterra in its C$400 million term facilities, C$800 million asset-backed revolving facilities and C$300 million public notes
• TD Securities, National Bank Financial and the syndicate of underwriters in the C$35 million offering of convertible debentures by Premium Brand
• TD Capital Mezzanine Partners in several mezzanine loan transactions 
• Alliance Atlantis Communications in its former syndicated credit facilities
• Revera (formerly known as Retirement Residences REIT) in connection with its operating loan arrangements with a Schedule 1 Canadian chartered bank
• Brookfield Asset Management in its spin-out of Brookfield Infrastructure Partners
• Sunrise Senior Living in arranging construction financing for two assisted living properties in Montreal, Quebec
• a consortium of lenders in the 2008 C$165 million project financing of the Deh Cho Bridge in the Northwest Territories
• Shred-it International on its internationally secured syndicated credit facilities led by Goldman Sachs

Before joining Torys, Nina was a criminal and an alternative dispute resolution tutorial instructor at the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law. She was also a research assistant at the University of Toronto, Faculty of History and Faculty of Bioethics.
