Scott Kraag's practice focuses on corporate project finance, with particular emphasis on the renewable energy sector, infrastructure development and mining. He has represented all of the principal parties on a variety of project finance transactions, including lenders, sponsors, equity investors, arrangers and underwriters, contractors, service providers and public authorities.
In addition to his project finance expertise, Scott also has extensive experience in banking law and regularly advises lenders and borrowers in sophisticated international and domestic debt financing transactions.
Before joining Torys, Scott advised on some of Europe’s largest financing transactions with international law firm Linklaters & Alliance. While in Europe, Scott was also seconded to the international commercial bank ABN AMRO, where he was special legal adviser to the Global Head of Loan Syndications in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
