• the underwriters on the initial public offering by Dundee International REIT in 2011 and TransGlobe Apartment REIT in 2010 (including its subsequent offerings and internalization transaction)
• First Capital Realty in all of its capital markets transactions, public and private, since 2005
• First Capital Realty in its spin-off of its approximate 16% interest in Equity One (NYSE:EQY) by way of an initial public offering by its former subsidiary, Gazit America (TSX:GAA)
• Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) in connection with the design and implementation of the C$12 billion Canadian Secured Credit Facility to invest in term asset-backed securities backed by auto and equipment loans and leases
• Sunrise Senior Living REIT
  • in its C$2.14 billion sale to Ventas
  • in its acquisition and financing of 24 assisted living facilities in Canada and the United States and concurrent C$270 million initial public offering, as well as its subsequent private and public financings
• the underwriters on a large number of equity and convertible debt issues by REITs in the Canadian primary market, including by Whiterock REIT, Charter REIT, Extendicare REIT, Dundee REIT, Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust and RioCan REIT 
• the underwriters on the public monetization by Dundee Corporation of its residual interest in Dundee REIT
• the conversion of The Consumers’ Waterheater Income Fund to a corporation (EnerCare Inc.)
• The Consumers’ Waterheater Operating Trust (now EnerCare Solutions Inc.) in its multiple offerings of senior debt securities and related bank financings
• The Consumers’ Waterheater Income Fund in its C$287.5 million initial public offering of units and subsequent offerings of units and convertible debentures
• the underwriters on the C$129 million initial public offering of Menu Foods Income Fund and the fund’s subsequent private placement of units
• Mansfield Trust and Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada in Mansfield’s C$253 million initial public offering of commercial mortgage pass-through certificates
• Brascan Bridge Lending Fund on numerous acquisition and operating bridge credit facilities
• Brookfield Properties in the C$180 million sale of Bramalea City Centre to Morguard Investments (acting on behalf of Acktion Capital and several Canadian pension funds)
• the international syndicate of banks in the C$3 billion financing related to the privatization of Canada’s air navigation system
• the lenders in the synthetic lease/bond financing relating to the construction of the North Grenville Community Centre
• Canada Life in its creation and establishment of Avista Real Estate Investment Trust (subsequently acquired by Summit REIT)
• the managers and arrangers on a significant number of debt issues on the eurobond market, raising in excess of the equivalent of C$2.5 billion for Canadian government and financial institution issuers
• Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust on the acquisition, divestiture and financing of a large number of industrial, office and retail real estate properties located throughout Canada
• Exchange Tower in the acquisition and subsequent mortgage bond financing of the Exchange Tower in Toronto and in its US$100 million sale of a 50% interest in the Exchange Tower to two pension funds
• Royal Bank Equity Partners on several management buyouts and buy-ins, both domestic and cross-border
• Scotia Capital Markets and the other underwriters on three significant public offerings of personal line-of-credit receivables-backed notes, raising more than C$3 billion in the Canadian primary market
• TD Securities and the other underwriters on the issuance by Borealis Infrastructure Trust of nearly C$300 million in asset-backed securities
• TLCVision (formerly TLC Laser Eye Centers) on numerous structured acquisitions of laser eye surgery centers in the United States
