Michelle has recently been involved in representing

• clients in respect of procurement, licensing, distribution and sales agency agreements, with an emphasis on technology-related matters
• clients in respect of the outsourcing of a wide variety of services, including information technology, call-center operations and vendor management
• clients in the health, pharmaceutical, financial and non-profit sectors in providing advice on privacy law compliance

Michelle recently returned from Budapest, Hungary, where she completed her LLM studies and wrote her thesis on data protection in DNA databanks.

During her LLM studies, Michelle completed an internship with the Center for Constitutional Studies and Democratic Development in Bologna, Italy, a research centre affiliated with the University of Bologna and Johns Hopkins University. While in law school, Michelle conducted research for You! be the Judge, a syndicated newspaper column dealing with Canadian court and tribunal decisions.

Michelle has been a co-presenter in the "Protection of Intangible Business Assets" LLM course at Osgoode Hall Law School.

Michelle also serves as the Advocacy and Government Relations Liaison for the Ontario Bar Association's Privacy Section Executive Committee.
