Trisha is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. She is a frequent speaker and lecturer at the Law Society of Upper Canada, Senior Legal Executives’ Forum, Canadian Bar Association, The Advocates’ Society, Insight, The Canadian Institute, American Bar Association, University of Toronto and Osgoode Hall. She has been a guest instructor in advocacy at the University of Toronto and Osgoode Hall Law School. Trisha is also the Canadian contributing editor of Carter-Ruck on Libel and Slander (Butterworths). A recipient of the 2009 Law Society of Upper Canada Medal, she is vice president and a member of the board of directors of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, the Senior Chair of the University of Toronto Tribunal, an active participant in and former director of The Advocates’ Society, a former member of the Ontario Judicial Council, and a former director of the Legal Education and Action Fund Foundation.
