Practice

Jay Holsten is the chair of Torys’ Competition and Antitrust Practice Group. His practice is focused on complex merger review and the competition law aspects of other strategic business arrangements for clients such as Abbott Laboratories,Cameco, Manulife Financial, Pfizer, Sun Life Financial, Thomson Reuters, TD Bank and Viterra. Recent sectoral experience includes agriculture, telecommunications, financial services, insurance, pharmaceuticals, retail, steel, energy and natural resources, and media. Jay also regularly advises clients in connection with cartel matters, abuse of dominance and other reviewable trade practices, marketing and distribution arrangements, and antitrust compliance issues.
