• Pengrowth Energy Corporation in connection with the private placement of US$385 million in senior unsecured notes
• a 3 bank syndicate in connection with a US$200 million senior secured credit facility made available to a Calgary based oil and gas exploration company with assets in South America and the Caribbean

• a closed end investment fund in connection with its C$350 million credit facility provided by a syndicate of Canadian banks
• a Canadian bank with provision of a C$25 million credit facility to a Western Canadian oil and gas marketing company
• a North American oil and gas fluid supply company in connection with its $150 million syndicated credit facility
• a syndicate of lenders in the provision of a $110 million syndicated credit facility to a Calgary based North American oil and gas service provider

• a Canadian bank in the provision of a C$40 million operating credit facility to a Canadian based transshipment company

• a major Canadian energy producer in negotiating approximately its C$5 billion in credit facilities
• an energy distribution, supply and service company in its approximately C$800 million in credit facilities, and in two private placements of notes totalling approximately C$550 million
• Enerplus Resources Fund in its approximately US$300 million cross-border private placement of unsecured notes
• the owners of a large Calgary commercial building in its C$300 million credit facility and C$370 million bond offering
• a Canadian energy services company in its approximately C$500 million cross-border revolving and term debt credit facility and a subsequent $450 million senior note offering
• the underwriters in a Canadian oil and gas company’s issuance of C$200 million in first lien bonds
• Canadian Hydro Developers in its revolving credit facility and its various wind and hydro renewable energy project financings totalling over C$600 million
• a subsidiary of Macquarie Power & Infrastructure Fund in connection with a C$100 million project financing of a 20 megawatt solar farm in Southern Ontario
• a 21 bank syndicate in the C$1.735 billion project financing for the construction of the Southern Lights pipeline from Edmonton to Illinois; the financing won Project Finance’s 2008 North American Oil and Gas Deal of the Year award
• Capital Power in its C$1.2 billion in credit facilities related to its spinout from Epcor Utilities
• the lenders in a US$750 million term B loan project financing provided to MEG Energy for its Christina Lake oil sands development; the financing won Project Finance’s 2006 North American Upstream Oil and Gas Deal of the Year award
• the lending syndicate in the project financing of OPTI Canada’s portion of the C$3.4 billion Long Lake oil sands project, and in the related credit facility and bond takeout financing; the financing won Project Finance’s 2004 North American Oil and Gas Deal of the Year
• the lenders in the project financing of a large North American pipeline developed by Maritimes and Northeast Pipeline
• an issuer in respect of bonds issued in connection with the construction of a run of the river hydro-electric power plant in British Columbia
• the lenders in the C$700 million project financing of a pipeline developed by Terasen Pipelines (Canada) and related band refinancing
• the lenders on a proposed financing for a 150MW wind farm in Alberta
• the lenders in the project financing of the oil sands developments of Connacher Oil and Gas and Deer Creek Energy
• other lenders and borrowers in project financings for a number of hydroelectric, wind and combined cycle gas power plants, and ethanol production facilities
