Mirek Fajt represents domestic and foreign lenders and corporations in financings, acquisitions, mergers, sales and development activities. He also structures joint ventures and partnerships to acquire and develop projects; structures complex financings such as convertible participating loans, sale/leaseback transactions and financing lease transactions; advises on the development of retail, commercial and residential properties; represents property owners and tenants in commercial, retail and ground leasing transactions; acts for developers, construction companies and architectural firms in connection with construction projects; advises foreign investors on their investments in real property in the United States; and advises lenders and financial institutions on the restructuring of troubled real estate loans and investments, the foreclosure of real estate properties, and the restructuring of equity, debt and ownership interests in financially distressed projects. Mirek is also significantly involved in the firm’s Infrastructure and Energy Practice.
