Practice

David Bish practises in the areas of bankruptcy and insolvency law. His practice focuses on all aspects of bankruptcy, proposals, windups, liquidations, reorganizations, restructurings, receiverships and security enforcement. He acts as bankruptcy and insolvency counsel to a wide range of parties, including leading financial institutions, accounting firms and corporations, as well as in commercial financing and M&A transactions.

Professional Involvement

David has been a lecturer since 2002 at the National Insolvency Qualification Program (NIQP) administered by the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP). He is a past instructor of insolvency law at the Bar Admission Course for the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Publications and Presentations

David has authored numerous articles and has contributed to various publications, including by INSOL International and the World Bank. He speaks regularly at conferences on insolvency and restructuring law.
