• Gazit America its offering of rights to existing shareholders
• Eurasian Natural Resources in its acquisition of 50.5% of the outstanding shares of Camrose Resources
• Blue Ribbon Income Fund it its offering of warrants to existing unitholders
• IESI-BFC in its $1.5 billion merger with of Waste Services
• Sun Life Financial in its offering of C$500 million of subordinated unsecured debentures
• International Petroleum Investment Company in its C$2.8 billion acquisition of Nova Chemicals
• Fairfax Financial Holdings in its purchase of 69% of the outstanding shares of Ridley by private agreement
