On October 26, 2009, Rogers Media Inc. announced that it secured its investment and distribution partnership with Michael Eisner's new media studio, Vuguru. Vuguru, which previously operated inside of The Tornante Company LLC, will become a stand-alone entity as part of the deal, effective immediately. Michael Eisner will serve as chairman of the newly-formed company's board of directors.
Rogers and Vuguru have also entered into a long-term distribution agreement for the exclusive Canadian rights to future Vuguru projects.
