On December 20, 2011, Dundee Real Estate Investment Trust (the REIT) (TSX: D.UN) announced the completion of its bought deal public offering of 4,393,000 REIT units, Series A at a price of C$32.75 per unit for aggregate gross proceeds of C$143.9 million. The closing included the full exercise by the syndicate of underwriters of their over-allotment option to purchase 573,000 units at the offering price.
The offering was led by TD Securities Inc. and included Scotia Capital Inc., CIBC World Markets Inc., RBC Dominion Securities Inc., BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., Canaccord Genuity Corp., Dundee Securities Ltd., HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc., Brookfield Financial Corp., GMP Securities L.P. and National Bank Financial Inc. The net proceeds from the offering will be used to fund potential future acquisitions and for general trust purposes.
