Restructuring and Insolvency Litigation

Torys’ restructuring and insolvency litigators handle all types of litigation and dispute resolution related to corporate workouts, restructurings and insolvencies.

Our practice group members have significant experience appearing before bankruptcy and appellate courts, representing corporate debtors, creditors’ committees, secured and unsecured lenders, trade and other creditors, court-appointed trustees and other parties related to other troubled companies. We also assist clients in out-of-court, privately negotiated restructurings.

With dedicated bankruptcy attorneys in Toronto and New York, we have the unique capacity to provide integrated litigation, dispute resolution and arbitration services in domestic, cross-border and international matters.
