Our Infrastructure and Energy Practice has advised on and negotiated physical and financial energy trading contracts for our energy marketing clients, including financial derivative transactions under ISDA Master Agreements and physical electricity and gas transactions under Edison Electric Institute Master Agreements, GasEDI Master Agreements and other retail and wholesale trading arrangements.
We also provide counsel to clients on derivative products to hedge fuel prices, electricity prices and related risks, and have worked with regulatory authorities and financial institutions to structure and develop derivative products that are indexed to various power pricing benchmarks. We also assist with the negotiation of EPC, fuel supply and off-take contracts.
