Torys’ debt finance and lending lawyers have significant experience in domestic and international debt-based financing of corporations and other business entities. Representing borrowers and lenders in the public and private markets, we act on conventional secured and unsecured financings, as well as more sophisticated project financings, structured financings, securitizations and other debt-based finance vehicles.
We also represent borrowers and lenders in restructuring arrangements and in the enforcement of outstanding loans. While we frequently counsel clients in discrete transactions, we also serve as ongoing advisers to our lending and borrowing clients. In this capacity, we may help them streamline their standard business practices, update their form agreements, or help educate them on legal and regulatory developments.
We regularly represent
