Doing business with Indian companies is all about planting the seeds of relationships and carefully cultivating them until they bear fruit.
Sunny Sodhi has been doing just that. He recently returned from the Dalton McGuinty–led trade mission to India and was on a federal government trade mission there in 2005. Since returning, Sunny has been working with a team led by Patricia Koval to complete the recently announced US$6 billion purchase of Novelis Inc., a Canadian corporation, by Hindalco Industries of India.
