After more than two decades as a mergers and acquisitions specialist, Patricia Koval is used to giving up sleep in the inevitable frenzy of negotiations that precedes a takeover deal.
But nothing in her career prepared her for the pace in India.
“The drive is incredible. I have never seen anything like it before in my life,” she said. “I'm talking about the senior people, the tea servers, the secretaries and the cafeteria workers who were uniformly enthusiastic and eager to go all out for us. This is what India looks like today.”
