Torys was recognized for acting as global coordinating counsel for Hindalco Industries in the refinancing of its Novelis subsidiary and acting as Canadian counsel to Aditya Birla in its acquisition of Columbian Chemicals. Torys also advised ICICI Bank in its lending operations to Indian borrowers making acquisitions in Canada.
