This year's Canadian Deal Maker Awards—handed out last night in Toronto—gave special consideration to the innovation and perseverance needed by lawyers, bankers and company executives to deliver amid turbulent times.
Torys received the Utilities Award for our representation of Morgan Stanley Infrastructure and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board in their purchase of SAESA Group, Chile's second-largest electricity distributor.
Torys' team included Joris Hogan, Jared Fontaine and Mark Irving.
