Lexpert's Zenith Awards ceremony was held last night to honour "the leading Canadian law firms, in-house departments and law students who are committing their time, skills and mentorship to a diverse and valuable range of pro bono activities."

Torys is delighted to have received four awards for our pro bono work:

• John Terry, Torys LLP and Irving Mitchell Kalichman LLP received the International Human Rights Gold Award for the Estate of Zahra Kazemi v. The Islamic Republic of Iran

• Patricia Jackson, Andrew Bernstein and Torys alumna Jennifer Conroy received a Platinum Award for their representation of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA). Patricia and Andrew discuss their work in this video.

• Eric Boehm received a Platinum Award for his work for VALCO, the Visual Artists' Legal Clinic of Ontario.

• David Seville, Jackie Taitz, Richard Johnson and Afshan Ali received a Special Distinction Award for their pro bono work with Right to Play. Jackie discusses her involvement in this video.
