On June 28, 2010, Bluewater Health opened a new seven-storey, 325,000 square foot addition to its Norman Street site in Sarnia, Ontario.
In addition to enhancing the community's access to healthcare services, the new facility was designed and constructed to adhere to the guidelines and sustainability principles of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system and to achieve LEED certification.
Torys congratulates our client Infrastructure Ontario, which worked with Bluewater Health to redevelop the hospital, which continues to be publicly owned, publicly controlled and publicly accountable.
