Corporate (New York)

We are seeking a 5th or 6th year private equity associate to join our dynamic and busy corporate group in New York. The ideal candidate has significant M&A deal work as well as some exposure to acting either for GP/sponsor or institutional investors in connection with PE fund work. This candidate must be able to run both PE files as well as M&A files (with assistance from our capital markets group as necessary for public deal work). Strong academics (both undergrad & law school), motivation to succeed, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.

Corporate (Toronto)

We are seeking 5th or 6th year associates to join our dynamic and busy transaction-focused corporate group in Toronto. The ideal candidate has high quality experience at a major Canadian law firm (or comparable experience with a major U.S. law firm) within the corporate, commercial and securities law areas, preferably including cross border transactions. Motivation to perform at a high level, the ability to work as a part of a team and a desire to diversify beyond a narrow specialty are a must.

Real Estate (Toronto)

We are seeking a 3rd or 4th year associate to join a dynamic and very busy transaction- focused practice in Toronto. The ideal candidate has 3 or 4 years of experience at a major Canadian law firm, with a focus on a variety of commercial real estate–related transactions. Particular experience in complex acquisitions, M&A, corporate securities and secured financing transactions, each with a commercial real estate focus, is ideal.

Strong academics, motivation to succeed, the ability to work as part of a team and a desire to diversify beyond a narrow specialty are essential. We act for some of Canada's most well-known and highly regarded institutional investors, real estate companies and investment trusts, and financial institutions, including the real estate practice groups of each of the major Canadian banks.
